Best Hk Pistol - One of the most interesting small handguns on the American gun market is made in Germany Designed and manufactured in Oberndorf, Germany, the Heckler & Koch VP9 pistol is recognized as one of the most durable, reliable handguns in world. Born after World War II, the gun maker Heckler & Koch became a major force in the world arms market.
The story of Heckler & Koch (HK) begins immediately after World War II, when Oberdorf, Germany was occupied by French troops. During the war, the French army confiscated the equipment of the Mauser factory, which was producing 70,000 rifles per month, and placed them on trains bound for France. Before deciding to abandon the ship, three Mauser engineers - Edmund Heckler, Theodor Koch and Alex Seidel - stole some equipment and hid it until 1955, when West Germany stopped production of the weapon. Since then, HK has produced a variety of weapons including the widely distributed G3 rifle, the MP-5 machine gun, and the current German military rifle, the G36. The US Army's newest sniper rifle, the M110A1, is a variant of the Heckler and Koch G28E sniper rifle.

Heckler & Koch's work with polymers in weapon design goes back many years, which is surprising for a company founded by veterans who have been producing the same Mauser rifle for a long time. Heckler and Koch VP70, or

("The People's Pistol") in 1970, it was the world's first polymer pistol, produced a full decade before the Glock 17. Although a commercial failure, its resemblance to the modern Walther PPK gave it a James Bond-like cachet. .
Heckler & Koch's new pistol, the VP9, follows in the footsteps of the VP70 and other polymer pistols. Introduced in 2014, the VP9 uses a polymer frame that houses the magazine and fire control group. Forged steel includes a cold hammer forged barrel Cold hammer forging creates a barrel at a lower temperature than traditional red hot forging resulting in a stronger, longer barrel and fifty tons of pressure at under the hammer. Heckler & Koch claims that individual VP9s have fired more than 90,000 rounds each during internal testing, which is certainly enough to last a useful life.
The VP9 is an assault rifle, meaning it uses a striker-fired system instead of a traditional trigger to fire and shoot bullets. In a sniper rifle, the spring-loaded firing pin is partially rotated by the movement of the slide, with the rest of the action occurring when the trigger is pulled.
The advantages of a shotgun are many. For one, accidentally dropping the gun with a loaded round will not fire because there is no explosive movement to fill it. This eliminates the traditional source of carelessness. Also, the gunmen who carried out the attack did not have long red guns, some called double guns, where one bullet pulls the gun and fires the gun. Unlike many shotguns, which have a heavy, long pull, the VP9's trigger is described as short and light, similar to a shotgun, with little reset.
New Optics Ready Vp9 From Heckler & Koch
The VP9 looks sleek and modern due to the complete absence of a hammer on the back of the pistol. thick or thin grip. The gun comes with three holster pads and six grips, allowing for twenty-seven different ergonomic adjustments.
Like most conventional, modern 9mm pistols, the VP9 magazine stores bullets in "double" rows on both sides. One of the small ones is that the VP9 magazine can only store fifteen rounds, while the competitors in the same class, the Glock 19 and the Sig Sauer P320, can store seventeen rounds.
Another big question: Why wasn't the VP9 seriously considered as part of the competitive Modular Handgun System (MHS) for the US Army? The VP9 meets most, if not all, of the requirements of the MHS program. The MHS competition won by Sig Sauer in January 2017 specified a modern ergonomic design. Indeed, the Glock, which lacks the system, has long been considered more competitive than the VP9. The VP9 even has a smaller, compact version, the VP9SK, to meet the pistol's tougher needs. Whether VP9 was strong enough to push through HK or the military crushed us we will never know.
The Heckler & Koch VP9 handgun didn't take many military orders—it was mostly found in police work in the United States and Europe. However, it is a new design with a global hit and will be on the market for many years to come.
